Welcome to 2011-2012!! Mr. Holman and Mr. Pennington are looking forward to a great school year filled with collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving, and new ways of engaging in learning. As you can see, this blog belongs to the students of  Beachwood Middle School and Chardon Middle School.  Our goal is to allow students to collaborate between schools, districts and cities.  The link located above, "2011-2012 Blog" is for both schools and it is where Mr. Holman (2010-11 blog) and Mr. Pennington (2010-11 blog) will keep everyone informed of daily activities.  It is also a great way for Mr. Holman and myself to reflect on how we teach our students.  Our goal is to help students gain more from this class than they would in traditional, linear classroom. Life is organic and we must change as the circumstances insist; education should be personalized and teachers should be facilitators for students to show the world what they know.
